Display AI Apps in Slack

When an AI app is installed in Slack, workspace owners and admins can make its AI Agent available in the Slack desktop app, allowing all members to easily find and use it. The Agent appears in the top-right corner of Slack, and when multiple AI apps are installed, each member can customize which ones are shown there.

For Admins: Display AI Apps for Everyone​

Owners and admins can choose which of the installed apps with an AI Agent are shown to all members.

To enable AI apps for your workspace:

  1. Open your workspace settings by clicking either the workspace name or Admin icon in the sidebar
  2. Navigate to Workspace Settings
  3. Scroll to find the Agents & Assistants section
  4. Enable your desired apps and save your changes

For Members: Customizing Which AI Apps You See in Slack​

To manage which AI apps appear in your Slack:

  1. Click your profile picture in the sidebar
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Go to the Navigation section
  4. Under App Agents and Assistants, check or uncheck the boxes to show or hide specific apps
