Inbox Agent
Inbox Agent is your personal AI assistant for inbound communications. It watches for Slack mentions, incoming emails, and upcoming calendar events, then prepares suggested responses and relevant context — so you spend less time gathering information and more time making decisions.
How it works
Inbox Agent sits in the background and monitors your connected channels. When something arrives that might need your attention — a mention in Slack, an email, an upcoming meeting — it assembles everything you need to respond well: a draft reply, relevant documents, related tickets, or a meeting brief.
Inbox Agent suggests and drafts. It never sends or acts automatically. Every response it prepares is shown to you first. You review it, edit if needed, and decide whether to use it.
Supported channels
Inbox Agent currently supports the following communication channels:
| Channel | What it does |
|---|---|
| Slack | Drafts suggested responses when you're mentioned in any channel |
| Email (Gmail) | Drafts replies to incoming emails and proposes related Linear tickets |
| Calendar (Google Calendar) | Prepares meeting briefs with relevant context before each event |
Connecting tools for better context
The quality of Inbox Agent's suggestions depends on what it knows about your work. By connecting tools like Notion, Linear, or Confluence, you give it access to the internal context it needs to write genuinely useful drafts — not just generic ones.
For example:
- Connect Notion and it can reference your internal docs when drafting a reply.
- Connect Linear and it can surface related issues or propose creating a new one.
