Discord

Deploy an agent to a Discord server.

Discord suits communities rather than internal teams: a support server, a user community, or a public channel where members mention the bot to get an answer.

Setup#

  1. In the Runbear dashboard, open your agent and go to the Chatbots tab.
  2. Click Connect on the Discord tile.
  3. Authorize the Runbear bot to join your Discord server.
  4. Select the server and channels where the bot should be active.
  5. Complete the setup in the Runbear dashboard.

Once connected, mention the bot by name in any enabled channel to start a conversation.

Disconnecting#

In the Runbear dashboard, go to the Chatbots tab, click the more options menu on the Discord tile, and select Deactivate.
