Notion
Sync pages and databases from your Notion workspace so your Team Agent can answer questions grounded in your team's documentation.
How it works
Runbear connects to Notion via OAuth and indexes the pages you select. The agent searches this content at query time to provide accurate, up-to-date answers. Runbear periodically checks for changes and updates the index automatically.
Setup
- Open your agent in the Runbear dashboard and go to the Tools tab.
- Click Add Knowledge Base and select Notion.
- Click Connect Notion — a Notion authorization page opens.
- Select the workspace and pages you want to share with Runbear, then click Allow access.
- Back in Runbear, use the page picker to select which pages and databases to sync.
- Click Save. Runbear begins the initial sync.
What gets synced
- Pages and sub-pages you select in the picker
- Database entries within selected databases
- Content updates are detected and re-synced automatically
Ownership restriction
Only the team member who connected the Notion integration can modify the knowledge base configuration (add or remove pages). Other members can still interact with the agent and benefit from the synced content.
Notion as a Tool
In addition to syncing content for grounded answers, you can also connect Notion as a pre-built MCP tool. This gives the agent real-time capabilities like creating pages or searching across your workspace on demand. Both can be used together.
